Case Study:

Conservatory Conversion to a Stunning Kitchen Diner

Over the past 10 weeks, the Bude Carpentry and Building Ltd (BCB) team transformed a drafty old conservatory into a warm, spacious kitchen diner that seamlessly connects to a beautifully designed garden space.

This complete transformation involved turning an underused area into the heart of the home, creating a modern kitchen diner that opens to the outdoors through sleek aluminium bi-fold doors. The result is a bright and open space perfect for entertaining and everyday living.

The exterior was just as important as the interior. We worked alongside MH Garden and Property Services to craft an inviting garden space, finishing the patio with elegant porcelain slabs and sleeper features that enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality.

Inside, we collaborated with some fantastic partners to bring the project together. The stunning Symphony kitchen was expertly designed and supplied by Paul Crocker at KJ Bromell, while Daniel Raper at DR Electrical provided exceptional lighting to brighten the space and add a modern touch. Structural elements, including the steel framework, were masterfully handled by JT Welding and Fabrication. Steve Eaton stepped in on short notice to complete the gas installation, ensuring everything was in place. DS Painters & Decorators added the perfect finishing touches with a flawless paint job, and Graver Flooring brought it all together with beautiful LVT flooring.

We are incredibly proud of this project and are confident that our wonderful customers will enjoy their Christmas in their new kitchen diner. A huge thank you to our talented partners for their hard work and dedication—together, we’ve created a space that’s both functional and beautiful. We can’t wait to team up again on the next project!
